Shanequa Moore, a distinguished leader and advocate, is committed to empowering underserved communities and driving systemic equity in the public sector. As the CEO and Founder of I'RAISE Girls & Boys, she has dedicated over a decade to uplifting minority families and fostering positive change.

Moore's strategic vision and impactful initiatives have earned her recognition as a leading expert in her field. She has a proven track record of collaborating with public sector leaders to promote equitable and inclusive practices, as demonstrated by her recent Social Work Power course.

With a passion for leadership and social justice, Moore envisions a Harvard Kennedy School that fosters inclusion, belonging, and innovation. She believes that students should have the opportunity to maximize their educational experience and achieve their goals in a supportive and empowering environment.

Moore's extensive experience in governance and strategic decision-making, both locally and nationally, has equipped her with the skills to effectively contribute to the student government. • Inclusive decision-making and ensuring students are involved in decision-making affecting their school experience.
• Guaranteeing that your voices are heard before the administration and advocating for change.

• Enhance accessibility to Harvard Health Services, including more mental health resources and support systems. Advocate for 24/7 health services availability and emergency mental health care.
• Partnering with HKS VPs and student groups to promote wellness workshops, peer support groups, and stress-relief activities, especially during high-stress times such as the beginning of the school semesters, midterms, and finals, 
• Student advocacy and support to provide resources to challenges affecting student life ie: housing process, parking services, library services, IT services, safety, etc.
• Incorporating and involving families and loved-ones in campus activities to share and deepen the student experience.

• Community and Space: Making student space more accessible for organizing events and meetings you care about. 
• Enhanced Student Opportunities: Promote and support diverse student-led initiatives, including social events, cultural festivals, and recreational activities to foster a strong community spirit.
• Academic Support Programs: Advocating for a mentorship program linking students with alumni and professionals.
• Class Selection Support: Provide guidance and support for students in selecting and registering for classes, including cross-registration information and one-on-one advising sessions to improve each cohort's experience.

• Innovation: Creating space for students to test and experiment with new ideas and gain support and feedback from the student body and administration. 
• Accessibility to Opportunities: Ensure all students can access research, fellowships, and student opportunities through diversity training for faculty and inclusive policy revisions.
• Class Selection Support: Provide guidance and support for students in selecting and registering for classes, including cross-registration information and one-on-one advising sessions to improve each cohort's experience.
• Enhanced Student Opportunities: Promote and support diverse student-led initiatives, including social events, cultural festivals, and recreational activities to foster a strong community spirit.
• Career Support: Improved career support services for students early on to support career goals. Support aligning coursework to career goals.
• AI/Tech: Incorporating the use of AI and Technology more to improve the student experience.

• Facilitate opportunities for students to volunteer and contribute to the Cambridge community, adding meaning to their academic experience and fostering a sense of civic responsibility.
• Volunteer Programs: Partner with local organizations to create volunteer opportunities that allow students to engage with and support the Cambridge community. Establish a volunteer coordination office to streamline these efforts.
